ÇIBUKU SH.P.K was established 15 years ago, building on a foundation of experience that dates back to the early 1990s, during the dawn of Albania's free market economy. The company's founder, Mr. Gjergji Cibuku, had already been deeply involved in the preservation of medicinal plants even before these times when the government owned everything. His expertise and clear vision enabled the company to navigate the most challenging periods of Albania's economic history. Today, ÇIBUKU SH.P.K is equipped with the necessary facilities and technology to ensure the highest quality of products for our customers.

As a leading entity in the collection, selection, cleaning, processing, and import-export of aromatic and medicinal plants, as well as their derivatives, ÇIBUKU SH.P.K remains committed to its vision of becoming a leader in the supply of organic products in both the Albanian and regional markets. We continually seek new export opportunities to give greater recognition to 100% authentic Albanian products.

Cultivation: Empowering Farmers and Enhancing Livelihoods

Albania’s fertile fields and mountainous regions are rich in wild medicinal and aromatic plants, providing employment opportunities for approximately 100,000 families in rural areas. With around 500 hectares dedicated to the cultivation of these plants, Albania leads in the production and export of these natural resources.

While our country has long been blessed with wild plants, the cultivation of medicinal plants in Albania began about eight years ago. Today, the sector generates about 18 million Euros from exports, ranking as the second-largest sector in agricultural exports. Historically, Albania has exported wild, raw medicinal plants, which are then processed and packaged abroad.
